Police at Jinja Road have arrested a pastor of Epikaizo ministries international identified as Pastor Joseph Collins Twahirwa on allegations of rape and aggravated robbery of a Latvian National.
The deputy Police spokesperson Claire Nabakka revealed that Pastor Joseph Collins Twahirwa was arrested on allegations of Aggravated rape of a 36 year old Latvian Tourist identified as Anda Sauliat and as well as robbing her money.
According to Claire Nabaka, Latvian Tourist Anda alleges that she came to Uganda towards the end of last year 2022 to meet Pastor Joseph Collins Twahirwa, whom she first meant on social media platforms through his sermons that he could post on TikTok.
She says that the pastor turned into a beast when he rapped her in December towards Christmas and after dropped her in a rented apartment in Makindye.
Nabàkka says that Anda Sauliat alleges that Pastor Joseph Collins Twahirwa also robbed her money and after ran away
She says that Pastor Joseph Collins Twahirwa is now detained at Jinja Road police station waiting to be charged with different counts.
Meanwhile Claire Nabaka also revealed that thy have also arrested and charged three police officers; Oyera Doreen, Judith Akitte and Ayirikiti Joyce attached to Jinja Road police, for mismanagement of Anda’s case
