Uganda Airlines Friday made its inaugural flight to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The Crane touched down in the capital in the afternoon, spreading excitement among the Congolese.
The airline has thus officially opened a route between Entebbe, a town on the shores of Lake Victoria, and Kinshasa, DRC’s main tourist destination on the Western coastline.
The flights which officially commence today, Saturday, will the see The Crane flying three times weekly (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday).
