During the Kabaka’s 25th Coronation Anniversary celebrations on the 31st July 2018. The Kabaka of Buganda Sabasajja Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II during his royal speech suggested that “the only way poverty can be alleviated from his subjects is through cooperatives”.
As thus KYADONDO CBS PEWOSA was launched in 2019 as a special decree from the Kabaka of Buganda Sabasajja Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II to stimulate the culture of savings and credit in the Buganda Kingdom. The cooperative has/is constantly guided and aligned to the Kingdom of Buganda social, economic and cultural agenda.
