A security guard, who allegedly abducted a 3 year old baby has been remanded to Luzira prison on charges of kidnap with intent to procure a ransom.
Stephen Mugisha, a resident of Kiwatule Central in Nakawa Division appeared before Buganda Road Grade One Magistrate Siena Owomugisha, who remanded him until 18th January 2023 when he will appear before the Chief Magistrate Sarah Tusiime to plead to the charges.
Prosecution contends that on 5th December 22 at Upper Kazinga Zone Kiwatule in Kampala Mugisha kidnapped Musiimenta Isreal with intent to procure a ransom of 20 million shillings from her parents.
